The syntax is as follows: <alias> CNAME <record> <alias> refers to a subdomain or subdomain defined in a name server. <record>, on the other hand, is the domain name that <alias> refers to.
For example, if you want to create a subdomain "shop.example.com" that redirects the user to "www.example-store.com", you should create a CNAME record that looks like this: shop.example.com CNAME www.example-store .com
This means that when a user types "shop.example.com" into the address bar of their browser, the name server redirects the user to the page "www.example-store.com".
