In this article I will show you how to connect cPanel to your server using an FTP connection.

For this tutorial I will use the WinSCP application. You can download it here: https://winscp.net/eng/index.php

 

 

1. Once WinSCP is installed and running, press the "New tab" button.

 

2. To connect to your cPanel server, you need the IP address of the cPanel server and your cPanel username.

 

3. Then select "File protocol" under SFTP make sure the port is 22. Then just enter your password and press "Login"

 

 

You should now be logged in to your cPanel server. If you encounter any problems please contact us.
