In this guide I will show you some basic commands in Vim text editor.

1. Open the terminal or command line on your computer.

2. Type "vim" followed by the name of the file you want to edit, for example:

vim myfile.txt

 3. Once you've opened Vim, you can use the following commands to navigate and edit your text:

-To enter insert mode, press the "i" key. This will allow you to insert text into your file.

-To exit insert mode and return to command mode, press the "Esc" key.

-To save your changes, press the colon key followed by "wq" (write and quit), like this:

:wq

-To quit Vim without saving your changes, press the colon key followed by "q!", like this:

:q!

These are just a few basic commands to get started with Vim. If you want to learn more type ":help" in the command line.
